Government I.T. projects continue to fall behind schedule and suffer massive cost-overruns. The worst offender is the £12 billion NHS computerised patient records system which originally was estimated as costing £2.3 billion. Failure to control this and other Government projects will lead to increased litigation and major I.T. suppliers 'walking away' from projects.

White Whale relaunches its website focused exclusively on project management issues. After a difficult trading year during 2008 White Whale has taken the decision to focus on providing clients with project management services by managing programmes and projects or providing consultancy to such programmes and projects. White Whale has shut down its CRM strategy consulting division.
